KĀNAKA MOVMENT PLEDGE (KMP)
The KMP was created in 2026 and reflects the fundamental values of the Kānaka Movement such as, caring for the people, land, and culture,  Socialoha, a social philosophy created by the Kānaka Movement, government transparency, mitigating the overthrow and annexation of Hawai‘i, and freedom of worship.

In 2026, political endorsees were invited to take the pledge voluntarily. However, beginning in 2027, taking the pledge will become a mandatory condition for a Kānaka Movement endorsement.
